Good morning guys, trust you had great nights, mine was great; howbeit short. I am grateful to God for the breathe of life, I am grateful that you are alive to read this too. God is so good! Let somebody shout hallelujah!
To the daily waka gist of today, I have two as against one. You know recently, the sequel to a movie has been going viral. Anyone and everyone wants to watch this sequel because of the hyping up by its producers. Of course, I caught the bug of the hype. Smiles.
I finally got to watch the movie at the cinema yesterday, and my summary is not all that appears gold is gold.
To the main gist of today, I wore a very nice pleated skirt to work today. This is actually my first time rocking this skirt. You know, being on the petite side, you have to be very selective of whatever you wear. My mum even commented that the skirt looks good on me (you all need to meet my mum, she is a fashion rocker, she is good mehn!). I knew it was, but I felt it was a bit too big but yet chose not to change it. After my mum's comment, I felt extra confident and added to my cat-walking swag.
Due to my petite size, the space between my body and the skirt was quite much and allowed for breeze to enter. After-all, the weather seems to be hot, so it let me enjoy the free breeze from the Lord. So, I decided to get my breakfast, on my way out, a car was about to enter the compound, the gate man was found wanting at his duty post( May you not be found wanting at your duty post in Jesus' name, Amen), and the Jesus' girl in me arose to be a nice girl and help out with opening the gate (you will not render the help that will disgrace you in Jesus'name, Amen). LOL! This help rendered has turned me into decreeing prayer points o!
As I did this, (you know you have to bend a little to lift the iron bar that holds the gate firm to the ground) wind blew into my beautiful pleated skirt and floated the skirt for a millisecond. I thank the God of my mothers, Mother Theresa and Mummy Adeboye that I was faster and didn't allow the air put me to shame, lol! Quickly, I gathered the skirt and walked away; that was when the gate man decided to show his face. Of course, after feeling the extra breeze against my upper thighs, I did my catwalk out of the compound. I was of course careful while walking on the street. Please don't ask me if anyone saw anything, I don't know. Lol!
As I walked off, an advice from my mother which I didn't take serious(I have repented now, lol) rang in my head--she'd say I should always wear my tights under my garments. So guys, it pays to obey simple instructions and heed good advices; no matter how small.
Okay everyone, thanks for reading today; don't forget to like, comment and share.
From me here, I am wishing Mr. Henry a belated birthday, we called you many times yesterday but you didn't pick the call.
Still in the birthday calling mood, feel free to send in the details of your loved ones
celebrating their birthdays and I will be glad to sing them a beautiful song and send your good wishes.
I am Busolami.
Have a great Thursday, God bless you.
